New lambs should be registered with Grassroots, ideally in the first six months after being born and certainly before being sold. Registration costs are as follows:
Registration of males and females up to 12 months of age – £10 inc VAT
Registration of males and females over 12 months of age – £20 inc VAT Late registration may also incur the need for a DNA parentage verification test at the discretion of register.
