The Valais Blacknose Sheep Society is delighted to announce that an incredible £10,160 was raised for Make-A-Wish UK at this year’s Blacknose Beauties.
Fundraising formed a special part of our 10th anniversary event at Borderway Mart, Carlisle, with members, exhibitors, visitors and supporters coming together to support the charity and its work with children living with critical illnesses.
The fundraising centred around our Blacknose Beauties Charity Auction and raffles, including the headline raffle for a CFMOTO CFORCE 450 Lambing Special Quad.
The charity auction and raffles took place on Friday evening during the Blacknose Beauties social gathering, with all winners announced on the night. The quad raffle winner was Georgia Atkinson of Valais Blacknose Sheep New Hutton. Our sincere thanks go to Highland Leisure Sport for providing the quad and for their generous support of the fundraiser.
Together, these activities raised an incredible £10,160 – our highest charity total at Blacknose Beauties to date.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who bought a raffle ticket, placed a bid, donated an auction lot or prize, and to all the businesses and individuals who helped make the fundraising such a success.
£10,160 is an incredible result and one we are extremely proud of. Most importantly, it will contribute to the very special work of Make-A-Wish UK, helping to create life-changing wishes for children and their families.
